Anyone use Kendall oil today. Dad used it in the 70's only oil he used besides Valvoline. How is Kendal today?

Use any brand you want as long as it meets your car manufactures recommendation ie 5w-30, API SG, etc. Buy the cheapest. For oil to meet an SG, etc. standard, It has to be subjected to many ASTM oil tests pour point, smoke point, iodine number drop test, detergent concentration, etc. Most multi-weight oils have 20% viscosity improvers. Save your money. The additives are made by three or four companies and the oil probably all comes from the same well . Synthictic oils are a different story.Anyone use Kendall oil today. Kendall Oil is still one of the best oils around. Well known for it's composition and lubrication abilities. You can't get much better.
